I have been arranging and re-arranging rooms for as long as I can remember.  I come by my affinity for interior design honestly; both my parents had an eye for great design, quality furnishings and a desire to preserve historical architectural details.

 I grew up in an older (circa1810) colonial home in Hingham Massachusetts and my father would spend his free time designing what would become a state-of-the-art kitchen, that still managed to blend perfectly with the age of our home.  My mother had a knack for finding beautiful furniture, old and new and making it all work together.  Growing up with both of their influences gave me an appreciation for older homes, beautiful furniture and great design.  

I believe all homes are unique, and the roooms and possesions inside should be a reflection of the people who live there.  A  place where the inhabitants feel the most happy and comfortable.
